She is perfect. I strongly recommend her. I had Hyper thyroid for over 7 years. My first specialist even couldn’t find what is my problem until the thyroid problem attacked my eyes and I got grave disease. Then I had to do both surgery my eyes and removed my thyroid gland. After that since 2014 I see doctor santos and I’m so happy. Everything is good and normal. God bless her
Dr. Santos has been very thorough and compassionate in treating my diabetes. It's so nice having a doctor who listens and actually cares.
If you have hypothyroidism due to Hashimoto's, please DO NOT waste your time with Santos. She does not have the competence to treat this complex condition. Hashimoto's, the leading cause of hypothyroidism in the US (~90% of cases), is an autoimmune condition where the body attacks the thyroid with antibodies. Antibodies may be revealed in blood work via the anti TPO and anti TG antibodies tests. Also, if experiencing throat pain/discomfort, please perform a thyroid ultrasound to check for nodules or other abnormalities. More... read more
