Dr. Beatty took over for my regular physician because I had to find someone closer to home due to my husband’s hospitalization. She was caring and thorough and was very kind to me during a very stressful time.
I have received hyralonic (Synvisc and Monovisc) and steroid knee injections from Dr. Beatty 3 to 4 times every year for the last 5 years. Dr. Beatty is ALWAYS very personable, knowledgable, caring and goes out of her way to make these vital injections as comfortable and as painless for me as possible so that I may walk and exercise without arthritic discomfort. That means everything to me and is the reason for my 5 star rating. Thank you so much, Dr. Beatty!
She misdiagnosed me after reading my images and ignoring the fact that I stated to her that I had a sports injury, she stated that I had only arthritis. She recommended getting injections in both knees when my left knee was the only knee with a injury and pain, but of course the injections weren’t effective since I had a meniscus tear. She doesn’t listen to her patients and she judges you based on your outer appearance, meaning since I was larger in size than her she didn’t believe that I had
I would not recommend her due to her inability to read MRI scans. She misread my MRI & told me I did not have a meniscal tear when I actually did. My brother a radiologist said the meniscal tear was visible in 3 images of the MRI & he was surprised it was overlooked. After a month of PT as per her recommendation I have made no progress since I was being treated for the wrong thing. Even the PT said if I had a meniscal tear nothing they were doing was helping. I would reccomend finding another Dr

Dr. Beatty is smart, professional and very thorough. She is an excellent physician whom I highly recommend.
