Great doctor, not so great staff The doctor I saw here, Elana Scheiner, was wonderful. It wasn't until afterwards that I had the problems with office refusing to work with my insurance company. Even though the office was 'in-network' and the insurance company called them and told them they were willing to pay, the office still refused to file. good optomotrist I've been to this office for a few eye exams and eye wear. Exams are thorough and equipment is current. Staff is all very personable. Dr gave me my written prescription without me having to fight for it understanding that I may want to order my eye wear elsewhere - other optometrists sometimes scoff at giving you the written prescription. However I did order both contacts and glasses through the office, and was satisfied with the quality and value of both.
Family Eye Care of Apex This is a family optometry office that is located in downtown Apex. It is a wonderful office that is very clean. I have always been able to get appointments when needed. The office is adequately staffed and I have never had to wait to see the doctor.

Extremely friendly and knowledgable – Gave diagnosis and treatment other optometrist in the area failed to make. Professional and courteous. Highly recommended for any and all eye care.
