My home ******** Icemaker was leaking water and in checking with ******** they recommended this company. I explained the problem and the model number when I made the appointment. The technician arrived and took off the back panel and said that a new water pump was needed.He didn't have one with him so that would have yto be ordered. He wrote out the bill and they charged me $85/ hour for 2 1/2 hours plus a $30 zone charge and then tax on that total.Total bill $259.68 and no repair. I spoke with Mr. ***** on Dec. 7 and explained our service rates are pretty standard across the US for charges from a commercial refrigeration service company(hourly rate for travel to jobsite and time spent on job location as well as a zone or mileage fee)..Scotsman has over 25 + water pumps and we are required to carry 3 different ones on our service trucks( 9 trucks)and this pump is not required .
