About this business
First, we believe to be a great restaurant, you need to have great food. We source as much of our food locally as possible. We use beef from cattle herds that are raised exclusively on South Carolina grass pasture. These yummy cows come from McCutchen Farms in Kingstree and Hill Creek Farms in Darlington. Also, as a service to our guests, we are a drop site for a local farm's CSA program...Hudson Family Farm in Rowesville is also one of our sources for local produce.

Sad what this place has become. It was great when it first started, but now the staff and management are complacent and, frankly, lazy. There is no dedication to excellent service here. Food is hit and miss and pricey. We want in for drinks and appetizers yesterday and it took us 50 minutes to be served 4 appetizers. Bartender was MIA most of our visit, and when he was actually being the bar he was doing anything but his job. We came on Mother's Day for brunch and had a lovely meal. Decided to come back today for dinner - definitely not as good an experience. Our server was great, the food was just okay, the menu selections seemed much more limited than the brunch menu, but all of these could have been overlooked had the restaurant had some kind of control of the FLIES EVERYWHERE!!!! The burger was amazing the service was very good and atmosphere is even better!
Great food and drinks. Loved the brisket tacos with sweet potato fries. Especially loved the atmosphere and Southern Sling cocktail. Hostess very slow on service but not the friendly bartenders who made it up with smiles, suggestions and small talk.
It was freaking stupid the two bartenders where rude and cocky. When asking for my check they brought but threw it at me like I was the asshole if ur gonna come to work as a bartender don't be a dick to the costumers that are there bc there the one that are spending money and giving u a reason to have a job. Fuck that place it was fucking retarded how much of assholes the staff was thank u and bye hope yall go bankrupt
We had bookclub there last night..14 people ...Server "The Rock" was excellent...manager & hostesses met us with a very welcoming seating...gave us an option....food and atmosphere were great. Will definitely be returning !
My favorite neighborhood place. The turkey burger tonight....let's just say you haven't had one until you've eaten it here. :-)
Terrible eating experience this past October. Love the original location. The food here is not good.
Everyone says it great....must be they saved all the craps for us...Will not be back.
