Lots of improvement works going on so only parts of the campsite was open. The area I stayed in was small but the sites were reasonably sized. The toilets were not great but hopefully they will also be improved. Wonderful to see kangaroos on the grass.
We visited friends who were camping. They go there regularly. They have a boat and go fishing . We enjoyed the visit for a couple of days.
go get a taste of the old days . and how it was for the inmates back in the day . don't go stealing a loaf of bread you mite end up there too ....
It's an interesting bit of history and worth a quick visit. Good views of the surrounding bay and there is a nearby campground. There is a fee to enter the goal.
