Sorry to say but really terrible job. I do not recommend this shop for chip repair. I get that as per your analysis this chip was not repairable but the chip repair job was really awful and unprofessional. Tony tried to repair but he didn't even clean the chip spot before applying the air ejector. After applying the air ejector messed it up the first time unmounting it midway and then tried the second time and poured the raisin over in an irregular manner. I came to Tony asking for an OEM windshield for my 2023 Honda CRV, with calibration for the sensors. He has a relationship with dealerships to get this OEM glass and he did it. He also gave me a very fair price on the parts. Labor was a little pricey but if you’ve received auto service in California you know what to expect. They don’t mess with insurance but will give you the paperwork to sort it yourself. You’ll spend some $ here but it will be done correctly. I called Tri-Valley Auto Glass the morning after a thief broke a window on my truck. He got me right in for a quick fix, was super friendly and helpful and offered me the use of a vacuum to clean up glass in my cab. Tri-Valley went above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!
Tony and his staff are artisans. They do everything custom from modern cars, to classics and boats. They will make your project look high end. They do not cut corners and do it right every time.
Highly recommended. I called a couple of the other bigger companies, and they all wanted me to come in for an appointment before giving a price. This shop made it real simple: quoted me a price on the phone and so I didn’t even want to shop around to see what others would charge. The work didn’t disappoint, and yeah, friendly shop with a very personalized an interesting interior was a plus as well.
