My husband and I both were going to Tri State Pain Institute of Erie for about 4 years. We both have a bad back from working in warehouses for 30 years...We were getting shots and pain medicine. My daughter and granddaughter died unexpected in separate incidents. We were devastated..Then my husband had a heart attack... We cancelled our appointment.... The next appointment we did make, then we were sick and had to cancel the next after that... The doctor would not give us any more pain medication, did not wean us off.... read more

So sad that dr. Mau has left because now we were shoved down to a PA. Then my medication was cut drastically with no one explaining why or even talking to me. I have been going here for 4 years with no incident. Dr. Thomas was rude to me on the phone and didn’t even know my situation. Loretta is rude and non helpful also. I think it’s time to find a new doctor. I would advise not going here.

I am going to pain management because i want to be able to work. The nurse their treats you as your there just to get drug. Loretta is very very rude and does not listen to your needs. I would prefer a permanent solution verses a band aid solution. I am seriously considering moving to not going at all and just suffering. I just don't see why these businesses don't try more permanent solutions also have some compassion with your patients! Dr. Thomas is great and he seems to connect with his patients.
