About this business

My wife and I ( Kevin Safley and Heather Breuer) purchased Town Center Automotive in December of 2018. Which many people know was a name change from Tri-County Transmissions. Since my wife and I took the shop over, we learn that we had to move to a little bigger shop. We provided to move on to the state of the art equipment with new Scanners, Computers, Digital Inspections, text messaging, no contact payments, and through the pandemic we brought on more employees to help disinfect vehicles before and after every repair. We h... read more

The Transmission was never ran correct after these guys worked on it. They used all my gas every time I took it back and screwed my breaks up. Horrible place.

BEWARE- They will write their own fake reviews. What a nightmare. When my transmission died, they screwed up the repair- badly. They installed the new parts incorrectly, and declared it fixed. I picked up my car and in a few weeks it was dead again. Thank goodness there was a warranty, right?? Tom didn't admit to the error. Instead he said that the new parts messed up other parts, and it would be done in a week. I waited two weeks then called to check on status. This was when I started getting a gut feeling that I was dealin... read more

Tom says you have a 12 month or 12000 mile warranty. Try to get them to warranty work. It is almost impossible. The place is a scam.

After quoting me more and more costs as they went along, the starter fell right out after three weeks, my check engine light was on but found the problem a month later at a muffler shop. They cut the exhaust! I took it back once for a leaking tranny then again, they forgot two bolts on the transfer case! Nine months later it locked up on me, (this is a four wheel drive) They put it in four High!!. Took it in for and oil change and there was NO fluid in the transfer case and the tranny still leaks! Now the transfer case leaks... read more

WARNING: Poor work, no integrity. This father/son business failed to adequately diagnose/repair my transmission on four separate occasions between 10/2008 and 3/2010. On occasions 2, 3 and 4 it had to be diagnosed by someone else because they said "it's not the transmission." Nice warranty. I finally had to have the car towed from their lot on the final occasion after it sat there for three and a half weeks. They said they couldn't find anything wrong but later acknowledged they NEVER EVEN checked it out that time. Turns out... read more
