I came to Tri-County Behavioral Health at 8:50 AM after being told by Jailene the previous Friday that I could come in at 8:30 AM and be seen/evaluated the same day since I was going to be slightly late to my original 3:00 PM appointment. I was specifically told there was a 15-minute grace period, and instead of rescheduling then, I was advised to just come in for a same-day evaluation Monday 5/18. This facility has displayed no concerns for people with disability or mental illness. Unsure on why they are in the field to help when there isn't any help provided. The supervisor does not step in to assist urgent matters. State needs to step in and audit because the public needs are not a concerns or greed.
Katy Pitcock was the absolute best. I thought I was gonna be nervous answering questions but she made me feel very comfortable. You guys got a pretty amazing person on your team.
If you don't have insurance, this place offers sliding income payments, so it is helpful in an emergency. BUT, if you have insurance or can afford it - Go elsewhere. You know how they say there's always a bottom of the graduating class... They all work here as prescribers and case managers... Too many bad experiences to list. Also, you never see a Dr. The prescribers are all nurses. In two years, I never saw a real Dr. once.
The specialist who came to the er was amazing. But now I am walking back to my car that is at the target. At 330 in the morning 1.5 hrs after that officer went off duty. I'm not from here. And I absolutely hate the dark. Several years ago phx pd screwed up and someone tried to kidnap me. Reasons of the scar on my neck. So I need to walk 2.5 miles back. Because that cop who offered me help is off shift at 2am. I know we only worry about the mental health.
