I had a long screening call and waited 2 months for an appointment. The day of my appointment I was told by the doctor that they do not offer the services and help I was seeking. The screening staff member did not know this, apparently. So, this was a massive waste of time and very uncomfortable and discouraging. In my work, if I made this same kind of error, I'd be fired. Like many public health centres it can be hit or miss at Tri Cities Mental Health, depending on who you get assigned to your case. I have been a client since 2017. Originally being very unhappy with a past case worker, I was thankfully matched with Ingrid in 2019 after a crisis and she has helped transform my life immensely.
