Dr Carroll is a great doctor! Very thankful for the surgery he did on my spine last year.
I went to Dr. Carroll after suffering for several months with nerve, neck and shoulder pain. After reviewing my MRI and discovering that I had a herniated disc, he went over all options available. He made me feel comfortable and informed when we decided to proceed with the ACDF surgery. I can not explain in words exactly how amazing the staff at Emerg Ortho and NC Specialty Hospital was to me. Dr. Carroll is definately a doctor that I will return to if I ever have any other spinal issues.

I've been seeing Dr. Carroll for a bit now and I've rarely felt this heard in medical care. He is not dismissive about my need to postpone surgery until I finish grad school if I can manage until then. Having autism spectrum disorder means I've dealt with a lifetime of medical "gaslighting". If I don't understand something Dr. Carroll explains it in a non-condescending way. He was very respectful. He listened, he had the answers when asked questions, he was concern, he wasn’t in a rush with treatment, and he practiced his profession with his hands and not with words! You have some many doctors that don’t even touch you, just giving you an opinion, take your money and out the door you go! Great Doctor!
