I can't answer about rooms, we were there for lunch. Lunch diner is on one side when you come in, the evening dining room to the other. Food was good and so was service.

I only dined in at the restaurant, so this review is based strictly on that experience . Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the food. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and I especially enjoyed my steak 🥩. It was cooked just the way I like it — tender, flavorful, and very satisfying. I ordered from the 4 to 6 menu, so the portions were a bit smaller than I initially expected, but honestly, the taste more than made up for it . Very seldom am I impressed with marshalltown's sit down restaurants. But what a delicious surprise. Got the salmon on the early bird menu. Everything was fresh. Get the roasted potatoes! Crispy skin on the outside and creamy on the inside. Servings weren't huge. But the quality! Yum! The early bird price was well within our budget. Two for one cocktails and wine. Guess I'd better check out the wine menu.
