Stay Away from Tremex – You're days away from closing on the sale of your house, and they find a problem that comes complete with an estimate to repair. Told us the house couldn't sell with the current "moisture" problem. They then proceeded to work up a proposal for almost $8,000 to fix the problem. Funny how a follow up inspection for a second opinion the very next day said there were ZERO moisture problems with the house. If I could give negative stars, I would. STAY AWAY!
Bad Experience – Tremex conducted a CL-100 on my home prior to selling. On the report, the company listed moisture issues which did not, and had not ever, existed. This report was conveniently accompanied by an estimate (unrequested) to repair these "problems" for several thousand dollars. After having two additional companies assess the house, the issues noted on the Tremex report proved to be false.
