Trellis – Nice upscale atmosphere. Beautiful tables with brand new looking linens. Your choice to dine on the upstairs patio or to dine indoors downstairs. The food was excellent. Outstanding Restaurant – We just returned from Stanford's Admit Weekend where we dined at Trellis on each of the four nights of our stay. The first night we ate at Trellis because it was our favorite restaurant from our first visit to Stanford. good Italian in Menlo Park – You might not be able to tell just from the name, but Trellis is pretty much an Italian restaurant. I got the bucatini with pancetta, which was good and satisfying (but not spectacular). Everything they serve you will be a good portion (I had leftovers). Best in Menlo Park – I live in Menlo Park and think this is the best restaurant we have in this City. The banquet room seats 120 people, has its own bar, large windows, a huge balcony and is ideal for large parties, unlike the claustrophobic rooms other restaurants offer. I have dined at the other restaurants in Menlo Park and found the service to be lacking and the prices to be outrageous. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to be treated like royalty while enjoying wonderful food.
