Fun restaurant This is a unique restaurant with a great atmosphere. The bar is dark and lined with bamboo and character. On the weekend nights we have been there, it was full and offered fun appetizers. The drinks are stiff, tropical and delicious. The staff is helpful and attentive. From My Father: Attending my son's wedding in Shreveport, we visited this location, while I was eating some of the bean and rice from my chimichanga plate, I took a bite into something hard in the beans that broke one of my back teeth, I was told that since no foreign object could be found, they would not pay for my tooth, even though, I showed them the partially broken tooth on the table. Do not attempt having a meal. Halfway through my meal I spotted an artistically placed short black and curly.. When on the phone with manager, "Santiago," he not only refused a refund but stated, "This happens often,ya know." I asked him to repeat that, and he again restated that,"it happens every now and then and it's not the first time." There was also no apology or apologetic tone whatsoever. The overall customer service was apathetic and even neglectful. It took almost 45 just to speak to him. Negative stars.
Best Mexican food in town! I love bringing my kids into this friendly environment and their cheese sauce is to die for! Love the prices and location, must try if have not!!
I took my mother to Trejo's yesterday (Saturday, April 9, 2011) at 2:00 p.m., because we had heard good reviews of it. WRONG! She's wheelchair-bound, and no one lifted a finger to help me when I struggled to open the doors. The "greeter" simply ignored us the entire time I was trying to push her in and keep the doors open. When we were seated, the greeter did not move chairs from the table to allow her wheelchair in. I had to do that. We were ignored for a good while, until our drink orders were taken. Trejos has the best Mexican Food in town.The service is excellent.I wouldnt trade Trejos for any other Mexican restaurant.It is a good place to eat with family and friends.
Trejo's on Mansfield Rd. is the best Mexican restaurant to eat on the South side of Shreveport.The food is cheap and the atmosphere feels like you are truly in a mexican restaurant.The service is absolutely great!!!You should try it next time you are on the side of town.

Plan to pay – The food is great as is the service but the prices can be a bit hefty on the wallet. My husband and I spent over $60 for just the two of us for steak, a potato and salad. The interior is pretty kewl though with the bamboo walls.
