Refrain from seeking medical opinions from this fraud, He told workers’ compensation that I reached MMI ignoring my complaints while being my treating doctor. After consulting with a neurologist based on the opinion of another orthopedic surgeon, it was discovered that I had sustained permanent nerve damage as a result of the injury. The case, was eventually settled thanks to the efforts of the doctors at Loyola. I would rate him lower if possible.
From my horrible experience with Dr. Treister, I find the other positive reviews that he has received quite suspect. Long story short, his treatment of an injury of mine -- one that by all other assessments would have healed on it's own if left alone -- resulted in the need for 2 years of physical therapy and eventual surgery. It has been over 15 years and I still feel the lingering effect of his bafflingly awful treatment approach. I'm not sure how this guy isn't in jail.
My daughter fell from the monkey bars and broke both wrist about 6 years ago (She was 6) 😔 Dr. Treister treated her and was kind and VERY gentle and comforting to my child! She is fine and well because of him👏🙌
