I took my son on the thrill seeker course for his 10th birthday. It was definitely a challenge and unfortunately he wasn’t able to finish but overall we still had a great time. Definitely bring climbing gloves, it for sure made the course more comfortable. We also wore anti mosquito patches on our clothes and I did not have any bug bites. We did the hardest difficulty course. The course itself is very well built and the instructors were great at explaining how to use the equipment and zip line. You are on your own, after all, once you get up there! It was very fun to complete though it’s incredibly hot up there compared to the ground so you sweat buckets! I read someone else’s review about wearing gloves to protect your hands and id recommend that too. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. Our reservation was paid in full in advance, yet when the tour was canceled due to weather, Treetop Trekking refused to issue a refund. I completely understand that weather is outside their control and that safety comes first. What I do not understand is charging customers upfront, canceling the experience, and then keeping their money. My friends and I did the night trek and it was great! We had so much fun and laughed a lot throughout the course. We all had our phone on us but if you don’t have secure place for it I would leave it somewhere. It wasn’t hot at all and the workers with us were great! The views was amazing and we didn’t even notice the exotic animals until we made it halfway through! It was definitely a workout for us none athletic and out of shape folks lol !
