Took 3 boys (11, 9, 7) to the flying squirrel treetop adventure. They really enjoyed it and it was easy, but challenging enough they did it over and over again. It took about an hour to do the course 3 times for them. There was shaded areas with picnic tables for parents to watch and enjoy the afternoon.
Great experience and totally worth it! Guides Shelby, Kira and Haley were awesome!!
Safety is not their top priority, they do not help with the harnesses, they show you a short video on what to do, then you hike partway up the mountain on loose gravel with the gear and the heavy backpack to do a "trial run". To get down from the line at the end, you are dropped by a rope, because there are no stools for you to stand on, and they dropped my mother. One guy had his hand brakes blow out. We did the 10:30 zip this morning and it was amazing, Annie, Julia, and Keira are awesome!! 5/5 recommend!!
This is one fun adventure! I was a bit apprehensive as I had never been on such a steep zip line. But this staff was so thorough and calm, I knew we were in good hands. Shelby, Barrett, and Madeline were our fearless leaders, and they did a marvelous job. By the time we got to the steepest one, I was ready. You really must experience it--so much fun!
