Beautiful trees, great mission, but the head of HR came over to my group of three people and told us to quiet down our laughter. She interrupted our conversation and after she said her piece, I began speaking to my friend again at a normal volume with her still standing there. She interrupted me again, calling me rude. Beautiful trees, great mission, but the head of HR came over to my group of three people and told us to quiet down our laughter. She interrupted our conversation and called us “unwanted” and did not apologizing for the interruption. It was so bizarre that this nonprofit does not want people to enjoy their space. She was wearing a shirt that said something about “broken crayons still color” and had brown hair, was 5‘2“ or so, female, 40 to 50 years old.
A hidden gem. This is Coldwater Canyon park managed by the nonprofit called Tree People. It’s wonderful. Extremely well-maintained with wide trailers that are well marked and plenty of benches to rest on.
