Sometimes you just need someone to listen. Sometimes you just need to feel like someone understands. Sometimes you need a little bit of direction. But most of all, you need to feel like someone cares and that you’re heard. Kandy has been that for me. My one piece of advice, is make sure whoever you work with has the experience on that specific topic that pertains to you.
One should be able to speak freely about how they’re feeling in a place like this. When you do, they call the police and have you brought away. Twice I’ve been sent to different programs and one even ended me up in a 72 psych hold at the hospital (even after I TOLD them I wasn’t going to hurt myself). Only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because they sent me to a place where I actually now a therapist that works WITH me instead of sending me away.
If I could give it no stars I would . Staff is disrespectful especially over the phone . This facility will waste your time
Our family could not be more happy with the services we receive from Tree of Life. My children (11 and 8) each see a therapist (Ashley and Nicole) and I see a therapist, Jamie M. Medication Management is with Kelly. They are all fantastic, caring, and skilled clinicians. I don’t have a single complaint. If I had to give one suggestion for improvement it would be that if you are already in services changing your reoccurring treatment series should be done with the treating provider and not the front desk….and even that isn’t ... read more
