Warning: Will Abandon You as a Patient Please, if you're considering anyone from Tree of Life - look elsewhere. How they run their practice is dangerous for the very patients they pretend to care about. Edit: Upon reading through the reviews, it seems like abandoning patients is their go-to and I'm not the only one this happened to. Very nice of them. Sometimes you just need someone to listen. Sometimes you just need to feel like someone understands. Sometimes you need a little bit of direction. But most of all, you need to feel like someone cares and that you’re heard. Kandy has been that for me. My one piece of advice, is make sure whoever you work with has the experience on that specific topic that pertains to you.
One should be able to speak freely about how they’re feeling in a place like this. When you do, they call the police and have you brought away. Twice I’ve been sent to different programs and one even ended me up in a 72 psych hold at the hospital (even after I TOLD them I wasn’t going to hurt myself). Only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because they sent me to a place where I actually now a therapist that works WITH me instead of sending me away.
If I could give it no stars I would . Staff is disrespectful especially over the phone . This facility will waste your time
