Large selection – I've been shopping here for many years. I only go once in a while for specialty items I can't get at a local grocery store. The deli is great.

Upscale grocery – At first, this place was sold to me as a gourmet shop and I was pretty disappointed on my initial visit. To me, it pretty much looked like a crowded grocery store with a few specialty items thrown in. Since my first visit, I've been back several times and have come to appreciate everything this store has to offer. The olive bar has a great selection of olives sold by weight, the cheese selection is wonderful, the meat section is terrific. A bit pricey, but worth it – Most things here do cost a few cents (or dollars) more than the Jewel down the street, but the quality and selection here more than make up for the difference. The deli counter is amazing -- all the prepared foods I've tried have been great. The produce section is a tad irritating since you have to wait in line to get your fruits/vegetables priced, only to wait again at the checkout stand. A treasure, but an expensive one – Moving into the Lakeview neighborhood, I was pleasantly surprised to find this local-feel grocer. There are those great gourmet items that you might not find up the road at Jewel. The problem is that those everyday items that you do cost a little more.
