When I was initially told my (17 year old) would require hospice care I almost lost my sanity. When you think hospice you think an elderly. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be here. It was a hard pill to swallow.I was referred by the hospital to Treasure Coast Hospice (Little Treasures) and met the most amazing nurse Cassandra who was just a breath of fresh air, very knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate.
