Tre Scalini has been a favorite for both my husband and I for over twenty years. The food is consistently out of this world. The reason I did not give it five stars is because the service went way downhill. We went there for our twentieth anniversary. The waiter we had was clearly not meant for this upscale atmosphere. We hosted a private party here for our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary...I can't say enough about the food, the staff and how accommodating everyone was helping us all get everything planned. It was hard to find a spot with a private or semi-private space for our "too big for a regular table and too small for a private spot" group - but Tre Scalini was full of options for us. I dont know what the sauce on the crab cakes was and ive had a lot of crabcakes in my life but wow. Simply amazing. Words cant say how amazing they were. I will be back for those alone. Thank you. Ilthe sauce i want the recipe
