My husband had a total knee on Monday Feb. 18th 2019, performed by Dr. Nicola. It was a great experience, the hospital was the bet and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the nursing care far above average-even the food was good. Above all we were extremely happy with Dr. Nicola-he is superb and my husband's pain control and care was exceptional. I have been to the other hospitals and they lag far behaid WVMC
The emergency room did a great job saving my life, though I woke up very unhappy with the future that I knew was going to be miserable. In-patient however, is another thing. I live blocks from what locals call Death Valley, and I'll never be an inpatient again. I'll have to drive over 10 miles to another hospital in considerable pain and it might not be worth the effort. Nurses were great! Dr. and administration were not. Don't subject yourself to this hospital if you don't have to. I've never been compelled to write a bad review at a hospital. Separate issue. The emergency room Docs are not in network for BlueCross of Idaho and probably most others. Anyone who goes to the emergency room has to pay more out of pocket. Why would WVMC do this? Ridiculous.
This jerk knew i was having severe migraines almost nightly and it had caused me to miss work i asked him to fill out my loa paperwork and he did it wrong then refused to fix it causing me to loose a job I had for three years steer clear
The staff was very knowledgable, compassionate and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The postpartum suite felt more like a hotel room than a hospital room. I would highly recommend West Valley Medical Center to my friends and family.
