Only if you grew up in a jerkwater town and had no idea of real italian food would you like this place. I've had better frozen pizzas. It was like a upscale Shoney's with Sinatra photos on the wall
Deploying Solider farewell dinner a BIG FLUB thanks to Travinias We had a large party (3 kids, 7 adults) so we made a reservation almost 2 weeks in advance prior to a Sat night dinner late in Feb of 2012. We had out of town guests and were having a last "hooray" before my husband deployed for a year. We were crammed into a table that would have been crowded with 6 adults so imagine 10 people. Travinia Italian Kitchen is good, but no Solstice!! so RT likes Travinia, but not Solstice?? sure, Travinia is fine for your just-above-chain food, but it stops there. this is a place to go when grandma is in town. best restaurant in Northeast Columbia? Best Restaurant on the Northeast Side!! Travinia's is the best place to eat on the northeast side. The casual dining atmosphere is also great. There are alot of chain restaurants on this side of town so its nice to finally have one that is not and has very different dinners. The prices are the same as the chains and you get a better selection of food so its great!! The fish is simply great here!!
Great new restaurant at Myrtle Beach's Market Commons – After a visit to the local art museum, a friend and I dropped in for lunch at the newly opened TIK in the newly opened Market Commons. Very pleasant ambiance - rough faced brick lining the walls, bare faux-oaken tables attractively set with tableware enfolded in black napkins (nice for businessmen - unnecessary for casual beach wear) eclectic jazz on the sound system. Great food and price! – I have dined at Travania's about 15x since they have opened in Lexington, the food is always world class, and the management makes our party form 2-20 feel great!
