After another hand surgeon failed to properly repair my broken pinky, I went on the web to check out reviews for a new surgeon. I saw Dr. Traverso had only stellar ratings, so I decided to choose him. I'm so happy I made the right choice the second time around. He has a great bedside manner, is very through and seems to really care about his patients. Not to mention, he is a great surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor.
Dr. Traverso was wonderful. He is a gem of a doctor that I was lucky enough to find. He knew exactly what to do about the gaglione cyst by the joint on my middle finger. He explained everything so well: what it is, what procedure he would use to remove it, what I would need to do afterwards. He was very thorough and put me totally at ease with the whole procedure. He is a terrific doctor and an absolutely charming person! The surgery was a great success and my finger is in great shape.
I highly recommend Dr Traverso. I went to him to get cortisone injections for both hands. My normal hand doctor is in Virginia. In talking to Dr. Traverso, I asked for his advise about surgeries that I was told would be required to ease pain in other area of my hand, Dr. Traverso explained to me in great detail why surgery was not a good 1st option and how they were more complex than I was told including the recovery. He was not in a hurry and gave me as much time as I needed.
Dr. Traverso is a genial, lovely person as well as a very competent hand surgeon. I had carpal tunnel in both hands as well as trigger fingers on both hands - all gone now! Thank you, Dr. Traverso!!!

I had a procedure called Thumb Carpometacarpal Joint Arthroplasty in my left hand on December 07,2018. Nine weeks later after six weeks of Occupational Therapy I have full use of my hand. Dr. Traverso is a professional in his field and I will recommend him to anyone who has the same problem and needs surgery. My pain after surgery and during recovery was minimal. I am happy with my results and look forward to a painless life ahead. Thanks to Dr. Traverso.
Dr. Traverso has been my hand surgeon for almost 5 years. Not only is he an excellent doctor, taking great care in the treatment of the issue, but his staff is also fabulous. Very accommodating and responsive.
Dr.Traverso , his nurses and staff are awesome. He listens to you and doesn't interrupt like some doctors do when they think they know what is wrong before you fully explain. He's adament about his instructions on the healing process and those are very clear and easy to understand.No gray areas! It's a very busy office and everyone remains composed and very pleasant. Dr. Traverso and his people are one the nicest groups I've met! Highly recommend!!!
I was sent to Dr. Traverso for a worker's comp injury. I would go back to him for any other personal medical issues having to do with the hand. He is personable and reasonable. He answers all questions. I cannot say enough good things. His staff was great. All in the office were courteous, efficient and friendly. I had to have surgery and I was never hesitant or nervous because I knew I was in good hands. Thank you!
