I saw Dr. Traverso for a nagging injury to my thumb. After X-rays, he took the time to examine my hand extensively and explain why I was having pain. He gave me a thumb brace, customized it, and explained how and when to use it. Six weeks later, my thumb is fine now.
When my 13-year-old son broke his thumb at camp this summer, Dr. Traverso's office staff was able to get him on the schedule the next day. They are welcoming and warm and instantly create a wonderful rapport with their patients. The wait time is beyond reasonable, considering the office takes emergencies (as my son was). Office personnel were very nice and accommodating, waiting times were very short. Dr. Traverso was great, he seemed to know his stuff exceedinglywell.
Just a follow-up visit for hand surgery performed 7 weeks ago. Everything is great, hardly even know the finger was operated on. Great doctor, great surgeon, friendly and efficient office staff. Great experience. Had to comer all the way f4rom Delray Beach to find somebody who took my insurance, but at least I found a great doctor.
Dr Traverso is very concerned about my care and explains my options and his recommendations. I will continue to visit him for any hand or wrist issues l may incur.

I have had the best experience. From start to finish Dr. Traverso cured my right thumb Trigger Finger (Tenosynovitis). About a year ago I incurred Trigger Finger from repetitive use on the job and after cortisone injection, Occupational Therapy, surgery, and then more Occupational Therapy my thumb is back to normal.
