We appreciated the minimal support during our process in coparenting counseling. However when a concern was addressed, the path forward to proceed was abruptly changed with zero explanation and there was no leeway in the plan to recoop as a group. Dreadful agency. Wasted over a year of time and thousands of dollars to end up worse off. Not a fit for high-conflict parents. A cynical business model to extract precious resources from struggling families. Zero structure, accountability, or expectations. Just white-knuckling week to week. Out of network/full fee. The only thing they did timely was charge me in advance for services. Fired them.
Horrible experience. A clear example of court-collusive privatization. We were court-ordered to use Traverse, with no choice in provider. It was extremely expensive and not covered by insurance. Their services lack oversight, yet their reports can heavily influence custody decisions. This place is part of the family court industrial complex that many advocates and investigative journalists have exposed. If you’re being forced to work with them, know you’re not alone.
