On July 10, I made a reservation with TravelPass. There was no mention of a service fee of $15.99. I immediately got notification from my credit card of an outlandish charge for the 2-nights which was more than quoted by the agent. So, right away I called to cancel the refundable reservation, on hold for an outlandish length of time, btw. Scammers, appeared to be IHG but wasn't, wrong location, then wouldn't refund the overcharged room when I discovered the scam. Stay away from Travelpass and ReservationCounter. I'm reporting them to Amex as well.

What a nightmare! They made no mention of a service fee and charged me twice! The reservations agent made no mention of that ridiculous service charge and actually charged me an amount higher than he quoted. In addition, the total for the 2 nights did not match what the credit card company showed AND they charged me 2 service fees. I had better get all my money back! When I finally got through to cancel the reservation, I was told that the service fee was non-refundable. They said I would be refunded that separately (both??)... read more

This group is actually Priceline, and also advertises itself as Reservation Counter. Their practices are shady and fraudulent. DO NOT do business with them. I had a cancellation confirmed with them and a refund was refused. The fraud that occurs here is unbelievable. Customer "service" will hang up on you and then block your number from calling again. It happened. Do not spend your money here.
