Not worth staying We stayed at this hotel during our trip to San Diego and wouldnt recommend to anyone. All the amenities were old, the freezer looked as if it hadnt been defrosted for years, the carpeting was ancient and the bathroom tiles all yellowish with age. The official breakfast was from 6 am-10 pm but when we reached at 7.30 all we found was half a glass of milk remaining and some pies. They never cared to replenish the food items. PROS: Location CONS: Ancient amenities
Awful Staff & Management This is the worst excuse for a hotel that I have ever come across. My two children and I traveled down the CA coast from the SF Bay area all week and our final destination was here. We never got to stay here because Amol (the so called MGR) decided it wasn't worth it for him for us to stay there. He tried to run my credit card at 1:00 in the afternoon (long before our arrival) on the day I was to arrive. When the card declined, he tried calling me. He didn't leave a message and I didn't recognize the... read more
Stupefyingly horrible experience Something weird is going on at the Travelodge La Mesa. I found more than 40. Everyone says "I can't believe what just happened!" I looked at other Travelodge reviews, to see if this kind of thing just happens at budget hotels, but no. Only this hotel has dozens of these nightmare reports in multiple reviews on mul... read more
