Stayed here several times on work trips for my small business. Never had any problems. Hotel wasn't fancy, but it was clean, simple, quiet, and safe. Not sure if I could say that about the other Wyndham hotels in this area. There are lots of Wyndham hotels in Albany. As I drive past them I see signs of noise and drama and chaos, but not here. Needs Serious Attention to Cleanliness and Maintenance This hotel has potential, but our experience was disappointing. Right from the start, the hallways reeked of marijuana, which made coming and going quite unpleasant — not exactly what you'd expect from a professional hospitality environment. Inside our room, the problems continued. The AC unit gave off a strong moldy smell every time it ran, making the air feel stale and unhealthy. The room was beat up looking. It was cleanish. I had to ask for a shower curtain and just got handed one to hang myself. The morning manager was super friendly helpful and apologetic. Wouldn't be my first choice to stay in again but also weren't many options open in the area. Very close and walkable to the mall and many restaurants.
Stinky, loud, scary place. We did not stay overnight. You have been warned.
