Stayed here while traveling US 41 while staying at historical hotels / motels. This place was great! The lady at the front desk was polite and helpful. Room was super clean. Only complaint was the door lock was broken, this seems like such a simple thing to fix I was surprised it was left broken, found this to be a safety concern. Felt vintage, really gave a 1960s - 1970s feeling. Loved it, please don't change it! Maintain it!
I mean it’s a cheap hotel, but they are very stingy about giving you additional towels for some reason. Also, stingy with the coffee packets to use in the room.
The management at this location is very unprofessional, rude and gets police involved when their in the wrong. Tells people they have a no visitor policy, yet they refuse to show the policy regarding visitors. The cops are on their side, we've been here for almost 2 weeks and they let management kick us out, gave us 30 minutes to get our stuff and leave the room, all because I asked to see the visitor policy.
