The only good thing I can say about this place is that the staff were kind and helpful. Otherwise, this place was pretty rough. We’ve never done this before, but we couldn’t even stay; we had to leave. The whole place smells very strange, musty and moldy. The walls are peeling. The carpet is fraying and appeared to have stains. There was a piece of thread or something stuck to the bathroom wall. The rooms are small and extremely dated so there’s a lot of damage.
I booked out at 5:30 this morning. I'm still waiting to get my security deposit back it's now 6:25 p.m. I don't know how to get a person there to talk to.
We were 'lost' in Ottawa after making deliveries in Nepean, Gloucester, and the City of Ottawa. Realizing that we couldn't finish all of the deliveries in one day, we needed a place to stay. Calling Travelodge by Wyndham Ottawa East was the best thing we could have done. Reasonably priced; wonderful check-in staff; close to the Hwy. 417; the rooms were spacious and clean; and, The Broadway Restaurant and Pub was right on site. Amazing staff there, as well, and the food was awesome! Highly recommended.
