If i had to give stars properly it would be half a star. My husband had an accident and this was close to the hospital. The room 127 was run down, tub paint was peeling, took 20 minutes to get hot water. Elevator broken, homeless people coming into building, or bugging guest outside so front door is locked at 7pm and you have to knock on the glass to get let in. This hotel is very old and situated right in downtown North Battleford. Rather sketchy neighborhood with lots of local foot traffic. The folks at the front desk were very nice and helped as much as they could. The first room we were assigned had no power on one side of the room (no power to the TV, fridge, desk lamp or microwave), the only chair was badly stained and the floor lamp looked like a milkshake had been spilled on it. I want to make this abundantly clear: this hotel is not suitable for children. If you have kids who like to move around freely in and out of the hotel, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere. From the moment you arrive, it’s obvious the hotel is located in a rough area. The parking lot had concerning signs, including used needles and a visible homeless and mentally distressed population nearby.
