The Newport Travelodge is a 38 room newly renovated property. Less than a mile from the city center and also less than a mile from the beach, this beautiful property offers all the modern amenities. New in 2011, pillowtop beds with either two double beds or one king bed, flat screen televisions and all new furniture. Also new carpet and drapes make our rooms cozy clean and comfortable. Alex the front desk clerk was very professional yet also had a unique personality and was kind and accommodating. He even helped us carry our bars to our rooms. The room was exactly what we expected and the beds were comfortable. It’s right off the highway so easy access to everything and who needs a beach view when you can drive or walk there within minutes?
So close to everything in Newport. Nice location to explore north and South on all the coastline.
Room was cozy. Friendly staff. Good location. Only minus was the bed too soft for me. Will come back again.
Clean and convenient at the right price point. A well managed and operated property.
Wonderful, caring staff! The room was spacious, very comfortable bed, shower could be just a tad more hot (but it was fine!) Good location, close to everything and my room was quiet even though the hotel is on the main highway. Newport is interesting!!
