Great place to stay!! Excellent breakfast!
Don’t stay in Blairmore unless you like trains rolling through at 10:30/12:30/2:30/4:30. AM. Wish someone had wrote that in a review before I stayed there. And yes they blast the horn. The hotel itself is good, breakfast isn’t.
The area is beautiful, the scenery is something to behold. But the travelodge is awful. The staff are kind, and unfortunately that's where the positivity ends. The beds are like pieces of plywood with a sheet on them. Our backs were sore when we woke up, the metal frames are loud every time you make a slight movement. The sheets are thin and don't retain heat well. The technology is stuck in 2010 and the water pressure is quite poor. The tap was like a fire hose and the shower was like a garden hose. We stayed here for one night. Very impressed with hotel renovations. Rooms were modern, new toilets and tubs. Nice breakfast room good selection of food. All the staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
