This is potentially the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at (and that’s after 10+ years of backpacking around the world!). The rooms are cosy, clean and comfortable. The kitchen(s) (yes, multiple kitchens!) are all heavily stocked with utensils and plenty of space. I’ve never been short of a hob or fridge space. I’ve just checked out of the travellers oasis.. all I have to say is WOW. It has been a long time since I have stayed somewhere so well looked after, so CLEAN and everything is in top shape. I will never stay anywhere else in cairns. This place is immaculate, well priced, lovely and relaxed. Bravo to the owners because it was refreshing to stay somewhere like this.

Very cute hostel, pool and outdoor showers are unique. The whole decor is adorable, staff were helpful in giving us info! The lack of aircon was not great (paid option) and the windows open meant lots of mosquito bites unfortunately. A few different kitchens dotted around. Laundry machines available with coins only, washing lines etc.

Stayed at 3 different hostels in Cairns and this was by far the best one. It feels very homey, everything is always clean, the location is perfect, and the owners are super nice. I ended up extending my stay multiple times here.
