We went to Travel Leaders on advice from Gold Key Travel from Longmont who we absolutely loved when we booked a trip to ireland with Gold Key. Unfortunately the experience with Travel Leaders was sub par in comparison. First we had more up to date brochures and catalogs than they did. Second Jodi seemed uninformed about the cruise line. The trip hasn't started yet and I'm already thoroughly annoyed with this company. We are doing a family cruise to alaska. Despite thinking there is no need for a travel agent for a cruise, my parents (elderly) insisted on going with Kristy. All started off ok. But as time as progressed, I've been increasingly annoyed until yesterday when it really went south and continues to do so. Since Covid we have had terrible luck traveling. We have booked trips only to be canceled by the airline due to weather or unable to get to the destination due to wildfires or just unable to manage it due to family obligations. In these cases, it has been a trial to get refunds and most of the time even with travel insurance we either could not get refunds and at best offered credits to be used within a year. I plan a company trip annually for the last 8 years. In previous years I have done it myself through a third party group website (like Apple Vacations), this year we decided to go with Jodi at Travel Leaders. That was the best choice we have ever made. Jodi made what is usually a stressful undertaking, such a breeze. Jodi has been there every step of the way and has helped us with all of our needs.
