I can’t say enough about how outstanding all the members of this clinic are. They have healed numerous burns on brother’s feet over the past 2 years and have treated his with respect and dignity. They see him as a whole person, not just a wound. They are great about getting right back to you about a concern or a change in condition. They are always able to get you seen within a few days or even that day if it is a Monday or Wednesday. Nov 19/2018....right foot was degloved ankle high to toes sole to sole. Dec 1/2018 transferred from Maclaren McComb to U of M Burn Trauma Ctr. Over the next couple of months the highly competent staff and Dr Stewart Wang performed surgeries on the wound that save my foot. Without their care and wound mediation I would not doubt that I would have undergone an amputation. This is the best hospital in Michigan and best burn unit in Michigan. I just spent 18 days here. The doctors are amazing. The nurses and staff are so caring and amazing. The social workers are great if you work with them. They wouldn't let me go home until they knew i was set up for complete success. This hospital and burn unit are the best of the best. So caring and understanding. No one wants to be at the hospital but this place is great!!!!!
