This place is AMAZING. From the beautiful drive in just to get there, to the incredible property, stunning views, fantastic service and superb food... Trattoria Lisina is more than just a restaurant - it's an experience. I'd lived in SW Austin for 6 years before learning of this place, and I feel cheated out of 6 years. =) Go once and you'll go OFTEN.
Second time visiting. The first was 2015 Valentine's Day, second, September 10th for my birthday. I have tried the Osso Buco and the Fettuccine con Prosciutto e Funghi and both were exceptionally prepared and tasty. The overall atmosphere was exquisite. But there was an abruptness at times during interactions with some of the staff, making it hard to relax and absorb all of the experience. Felt like I was in Italy! Tried the Capresse Salad as an appetizer. Entre- one of the Chef's Specials-duck. It was delicious. Service was attentive and well trained. The dining experience was a high 5*! The grounds were gorgeous! Friendly staff. A truly wonderful experience from the moment we arrived.
We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday last night. Our stellar waiter MARK handled a 22 person party with efficiency, friendliness and most importantly, patience. We were a lot to handle and he was awesome. Always great food and amazing atmosphere - Thank you from the heart for helping make this a such a fond memory!!

Loved the look of the restaurant and the views,we had a Very good time. My lasagna wasn't great that's the only cons. But I would go back.
Second time visiting. First was a formal bday dinner and it was amazing. This was a casual Sunday afternoon on the patio with wine, bread and cheese. Simple and elegant. Love this venue!
