Small, family owned restaurants pepper the Italian countryside, each offering a unique take on the regional cuisine. Recipes unchanged for generations, wine flowing freely- these casual, rustic eateries are filled with energy, alive with the sounds of friends and family- sharing food and becoming more animated as the night and the wine progress. These restaurants truly represent the soul of Italy. A sincere love of family, friends, food and wine are the hallmarks of the trattoria. Damian & Trina Mandola bring these ideals to... read more

Loved the scenery and the restaurant! We came for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Food was great and the atmosphere was awesome!
We ate there with 45 + other car club members on April 1. It was awesome in every way. Chicken Parmesan was the best I have ever had. Doneness was perfect with a crisp coating and served hot! Thank you!
Great food full of flavor, pasta like no other very unique. The waiters service was excellent.
Pretty location but the noise, noise, noise made it impossible to enjoy a large group. It also contributed to orders being incorrect. Stay away from the seafood risotto. Mealy, and the fish was like a mystery meat. My guest across the table ordered the ravioli and got the risotto. I ordered a Moscow mule and got some vodka concoction. A real gem in the Texas Hill Country. The wine and menu selections are excellent and provide choices from seafood to grilled meats and veges. Clint Carter the sommelier will make great recommendations for pairing wine with your meal selections. The service staff is very cordial and knowledgeable. We really appreciate having Trattoria Lisina and have been loyal diners for many years.
The ravioli of the day was amazing! Great staff and just a wonderful experience all around!
Awesome first time experience! I will be back very soon!
Wow! The food and service were on point. So good and such a beautiful setting. Duchman Winery is right next door too. Do some tasting before or after dinner. Then throw some corn hole after dinner on Duchman's pretty front lawn.
This was my second time eating here. Both times we were just passsing by, wearing shorts and flip flops, coming or going from the river. They totally did not have a problem with our attire and have been so gracious. The Food was amazing and service is above expectation. My nephew started to feel sick, so he and my sister went to the car so he could rest. Our waiter helped pack appetizers, main course, utensils and a drink to go, so she could still eat a fresh dinner. Amazing!
