I bought a filter for my furnace based on what size was written on the outside of the furnace. Turns out that was the wrong size which I didn’t realize until I went to put it in. They will not exchange it because I took the film off, but it never went into the furnace, it’s still brand new. I try to support the small businesses, but this one lost my business! I’m sure if I had bought it at Lowe’s or Home Depot they would exchange it. Anyone interested in a 20 x 25 x 5 filter I’ll sell it for half price!

The folks at True Value Hardware store in Trappe, are always available to help. Today, I was making a small purchase (less than $10) and the two young guys, Tow and Zach, were so helpful. They even looked at a video, to make sure I was getting the correct item. I am always impressed by the staff. That keeps me coming back! Good job guys.

I’ve had multiple experiences at Trappe True Value, and unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. Staff often seem uninterested in helping and can come across as dismissive when you ask for assistance. It’s frustrating trying to get basic questions answered or find someone willing to go the extra mile. While the store itself is convenient, the lack of attentive and friendly service makes it difficult to recommend. I hope they take steps to improve the customer experience.
