Absolutely perfect location for our 40th anniversary weekend. Gorgeous view as soon as you pull in to parking lot and loved the fresh flowers placed all over the inside of lodge as well as the gardens. Bed was super comfortable with a large bathroom - very clean. We ate dinner and breakfast in the dining room and had a beer at the beer hall - everything was great. We were so excited to stay here, and it absolutely did not disappoint! This was easily one of the most enjoyable stays of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Having the shuttle on-site to take guests to the different attractions was such a convenient bonus and made getting around effortless. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Cannot say enough good things about our stay. Had a 2 night stay in July and we were pleasantly surprised by the expansive grounds, the food, and especially the staff. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. We stayed in a Nordic king bed room - it was gorgeous. With a balcony overlooking the mountains, a sizable area for sitting and dressing, and a fridge and coffee maker, it had everything we needed. We came to this place for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. From the hospitality of the staff to the delicious food and relaxed atmosphere we could not ask for more. However, we did get more. We had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Christina vonTrappe who couldn’t have been more humble and charming. We hope to return soon to this amazing place!
We recently stayed at von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort in April while hosting an event, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The event team was helpful, attentive, and supportive at every step of the process, which made a big difference in ensuring everything ran smoothly. (Big shout out for Austin, Bob and Monica).
