Great place ... it's a mellow and serene paddle, over the lake and through the cypress swamp. Lots of herons and turtles!
I have come here several times and love it. Great campground and great place to relax and get away!
Worst park I've been too. Have signs of fees but don't make it clear where to pay. You can literally park and walk to the park with no visible way to pay. Yet they give you a $50 parking ticket for 10mins..... Not a good first experience or any for that matter.
Northernmost American Cypress Swamp : remember boating " into the woods," from out of the lake . There was a " colored beach " there : Jason's Beach - baptisms there on Sunday mornings
Don't miss this local treasure. Hiking and bike trails, kayaking, fishing, and the cleanest campground around.
We are about to leave to come down today but I've been there a million times and I love it! It's gorgeous and the fishing is fantastic! Can't wait to get there today!
Great place for beautiful scenery and trail running. Some of the most well maintained trails I've ever run on!
One of my favorites places to go! We are so lucky to have it close to home.
Beautiful park and pond. Lots of hiking and kayaking trails. Campsites were nice and not over crowded. We went the week of 4th of July and there were only 5 other families camping. Only negative is the pontoon tours were only on the weekends
