Vince and Adrian did a great job re-glazing, re-sealing, stripping/repainting, and re-hanging our old double-hung wood windows. We wanted to keep the 1940s wood windows to maintain the vintage look of our Oak Park colonial. These guys got it done quickly and perfectly on budget. Here's to another keeping our 83 year old windows alive!
Transparent replaced our 5 basement windows and we couldn’t be happier with how awesome they turned out. We didn’t know exactly what type of windows we wanted and Transparent really helped us find the right window for our basement/needs. Also, install was quick and easy. Vince and his team are amazing! Customer service was super helpful and accommodating! We got high quality windows and pricing was reasonable. We will definitely be using Transparent Windows and Glass for all our future window replacement needs!
We had a number of windows that needed new balances. Small job. I paid the deposit in July. It's now November and I just demanded a refund. Transparent didn't answer a number of emails. They cancelled our install date three times (each time the day of). Horrendous communication. They don't seem to care. I understand this is a small job for them but they should have been honest and told me they didn't want to do it. I am guessing they won't care about this review either. Vince is super professional and seemed to do very good work, but experience was soured based on unclear quoting. Vince came out to inspect my issue, gave me some really clear information about what he saw was the issue and how they could fix it. Received a quote the next day for what I considered a fair price, but what I didn't know was that the quote for 2 windows out of the 6 that we looked at when Vince came out.
