RecommendedI’ve heard so many horror stories about local transmission shops. My GMC pick-up tranny finally went out, though, and a friend recommended Transmission Specialists. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my entire experience there. Everything from just the way I was talked to, to the job they did, to the cost. I waited to see how it held up before I wrote a review, and I have had zero issues. I hope I don’t have any more tranny problems, but if I do I won’t think twice about who I take it to.
I had my transmission go out a few miles after driving through West Monroe. Transmission Specialists rebuilt my 700R4 for a reasonable charge. They were also able to work my truck into a busy schedule and get me back on the road within a few days. Transmission rebuilds are pretty labor intensive, so I am impressed by their good work.

When my brand new car quit on me on the way to work one morning, I called these guys in a panic! I took it by there that afternoon for them to check it out! They told me it was actually a part that was on recall and fixed it the same day! Awesome customer service and won’t price gouge you!! ���
