I scheduled transportation for my 88-year-old father, who has dementia, to attend his physical therapy appointment with his insurance company which had contacted TransMed Care Transportation Services out of Ypsilanti, Michigan to be of service. Unlike other transportation services, TransMed never provided a courtesy call or a proper time window for pickup, something most companies do at least two hours in advance. They are terrible on service getting older people to where they need to go my patient been waiting 5 hours for a ride
My insurance set me up a ride through their service to my appointment and they never showed and I had to cancel my appointment. No call, no message, and had the nerve to send me a survey on how satisfied I was with the service. Very dissatisfied to say the least!
