I've been with many therapists in my lifetime due to not feeling a good connection with them. I felt more connected to Deb in our first session than I ever have with some previous therapists. I've been meeting with Deb for around a year and truly believe that I've grown a great deal this year, even during a pandemic. I'm incredibly grateful that I've met Deb.
Deb is a lifesaver. She will treat you with dignity, respect, and empathy while at the same time calling you out on bad habits, bad thought patterns, and hypocrisy. She is unfailingly kind, and a consummate professional.
I was not going to post anything but at the recommendation of friends decided to start being more open about my experiences with Deb. Deb is extremely kind, extremely gentle, and her family experience lends itself to having compassion for trans people. But she will absolutely gatekeep your healthcare.
