I was so apprehensive about starting this therapy and thinking I would not fit in. Damon made me feel very welcome and so did all the other participants. I feel like I gained not only valuable techniques, but a great deal of confidence! I would give zero stars if I could. Transition Counseling has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They never properly verified insurance coverage before starting services. They continued to see my husband for multiple sessions—between November and December—without confirming if he was covered or discussing any payment options. Not once did they ask for a co-pay, down payment, or mention that insurance approval was pending. Signed up for the Employee Assistance Help opportunity through my workplace that allows an employee 3 free mental health sessions. Went through the helpline for local references for therapists. They directed me to this place. I was given a pre screening consultation over zoom with a staff member who was new and didn't have many answers to my questions.
